Een origineel kunstwerk kopen is een spannende, persoonlijke ervaring en het laten maken van een werk is dat nog meer. Je vraagt ​​een artiest waarmee je een connectie voelt om speciaal voor jou iets te creëren.

Het uitzoeken van een schilderij dat u wilt aanschaffen, of dat u aan een dierbare wilt schenken, brengt veel gevoelens met zich mee. Het is iets heel persoonlijks dat zorg en aandacht vraagt. Daarom is het aanschaffen van een kunstwerk een bijzondere gebeurtenis.

Het door mij laten maken van een schilderij in opdracht is vrij ongecompliceerd.

Neem contact met mij op via het contactformulier en vertel me wat uw wensen zijn, of er sprake is van een deadline en welke afmetingen u in gedachten hebt. Ik neem contact met u op via e-mail of telefoon en we kunnen de opties bespreken die ik u kan bieden.

Daarna zal ik u een offerte sturen met daarin de prijs en levertijd. Indien nodig kan ik u ook monsters sturen van de materialen die ik zou kunnen gebruiken voor uw opdracht.

Indien u mij de opdracht gunt stuur u een overeenkomst die u na ondertekening moet retourneren, samen met de niet-restitueerbare aanbetaling van 50%. Ontvangst van de aanbetaling is voor mij het startsein om aan het conceptuele deel van uw kunstwerk te gaan werken.

Zodra ik de conceptuele fase heb afgerond, zal ik u een voorbeeld sturen en kunnen we bespreken of er aanpassingen zijn die u wenst. Eén rondje finetunen is bij mijn prijs inbegrepen, maar het is zeker mogelijk om meerdere rondes te doen totdat u helemaal tevreden bent. In dat geval is het mogelijk dat er sprake zal zijn van een aanvullende vergoeding.

Een andere inbegrepen service is mijn voorbeeldproces. Als u mij een foto kunt sturen van de muur waar u het kunstwerk wilt ophangen, dan maak ik een compositie en kunt u een voorbeeld bekijken van hoe het kunstwerk eruitziet aan de muur.

Ondertussen begin ik met het werken aan het uiteindelijke schilderij en als ik klaar ben, stuur ik u een foto van het voltooide werk. Voor mij als kunstenaar is het erg belangrijk dat u blij en tevreden zult zijn met het uiteindelijke resultaat. Wanneer dit het geval is zal ik u een factuur sturen voor het resterende bedrag en zodra het stuk voldoende is gedroogd om te worden ingepakt gaat het per koerier op weg naar u.

Selecting a painting you want to own or offer to someone dear carries lots of emotion. It’s something very personal which shows care, attention and consideration. That’s why commissioning a piece of artwork is so meaningful.

The commission process is straight forward.

Contact me via the contact form and tell me what you are looking for, your time scale and what dimensions you have in mind. I will get back to you either by email or phone and we can discuss the options I can offer you.

After that, I will formalise your request and give you a quote and a completion date. If necessary, I can also send you samples.

After agreeing on your wishes and the I formalise your request – by replying with a quote and a suggested completion date. I will send you an agreement which you are required to return after signing, along with the non-refundable down payment of 50%. This will be my cue to start working on the conceptual part of your artwork.

Once I have completed the conceptual phase, I will send you a preview and we can discuss if there are any adjustments you would like me to make. One round of fine tuning is included in my price, but it surely is possible to do several rounds until you are completely satisfied. In that case, we will have to agree on an additional fee tho.

Another included service is my preview process. If you are able to send me a photo of the wall where you want to hang the artwork, I will make a composition and you will be able to preview how the artwork looks in its future surroundings.

In the meantime, I will start with the actual work on your piece and once I’m done, I will send you a photo of the finished work. For me as an artist, it’s very important that you will be delighted with the finished piece. When you are satisfied with the final work, I will send you an invoice fort he remaining fee and once the piece has dried enough to be packed, I will ship it to you.
